Flutter Entertainment, a leading gambling company, has announced its plans to list its ordinary shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by January 29, 2024. This move is contingent upon the approval of its Form 20-F Registration Statement by the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
On January 23, 2024, the last day of trading for Flutter’s shares on Euronext Dublin, there will be a trading suspension to facilitate the settlement of pending trades.
While Flutter will be delisted from Euronext Dublin, it will maintain its premium listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and remain a part of the FTSE 100 index. The company’s shares will continue to trade on the LSE under the symbol ‘FLTR’ and simultaneously on the NYSE under the symbol ‘FLUT’.
Flutter intends to release its full-year results for the period ending December 31, 2023, in accordance with US GAAP on March 26, 2024. Additionally, on January 18, 2024, the company will provide a brief trading update for the three-month period ending December 31, 2023, and the full-year 2023.
This strategic move of listing on the NYSE aligns with Flutter’s goal of optimizing its operations and leveraging the strengths of the US market, while maintaining a presence in the UK market through the LSE. Recently, Flutter’s UK and Ireland division demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by raising millions of pounds for charitable initiatives through campaigns hosted by prominent brands like Paddy Power, Sky Betting & Gaming, and Betfair. These campaigns supported causes such as Prostate Cancer UK, the Injured Jockeys Fund, and initiatives in partnership with the English Football League (EFL).
Furthermore, Flutter has expanded its collaboration with Pragmatic Play to offer live casino content for Paddy Power and Betfair brands, further strengthening their existing partnership that began in 2019.
