Arizona Approves bet365’s License for Ak-Chin Indian Community

The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has officially granted bet365, representing the Ak-Chin Indian Community, an event wagering operator licence.

This decision abides by the regulations outlined in A.R.S. § 5-1304, A.A.C. R19-4-105 and 106.

In June 2023, the ADG started accepting applications for event wagering licences, including one for Arizona Tribes and two for Arizona Sports Franchises, as defined in A.R.S. § 5-1301(7).

The application period was open for two weeks, from 1 August 2023 to 15 August 2023. Only applications submitted within this timeframe were considered.

Meanwhile, as bet365 prepares to launch in Kentucky in approximately one month, this marks the platform’s sixth market. Currently, bet365 is operational in Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey, Iowa, and Colorado.

Pre-registration is currently available for the Kentucky launch.

In addition, after Kentucky announced the issuance of temporary sportsbook licences, bet365 established a multi-year partnership with Sandy’s Gaming and Racing.

Through this partnership, the bet365 app will accept bets on athletic events in Kentucky from Sandy’s Gaming and Racing.
