Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG) generously donates approximately £250,000 ($313,000) to the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, a prominent charity in Yorkshire. The Annual Charity Gala hosted by SBG in Leeds was attended by numerous staff and guests, who came together for a night of fundraising. The event was hosted by ITV Racing duo Ed Chamberlin and Oli Bell.

Steve Birch, Chief Commercial Officer of Sky Betting & Gaming, expressed his pride in the company’s efforts to raise money for this exceptional cause at the Charity Gala. The contributions made during the evening included raffle prizes, a silent auction, a Mascot Race, and various sponsorship packages.

Moreover, to support the acquisition of a cutting-edge echo software package that offers in-depth heart analysis for patients, SBG’s parent company Flutter UKI donated £120,000 to conclude the event. Heidi Watson, CEO of the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, highlighted the positive impact that the new Echo Software Package will have on doctors and, most importantly, patients.

Andy McNally, Head of Marketing at CHSF, expressed gratitude for the life-changing contribution from Sky Betting & Gaming and Flutter UKI, emphasizing its significance for local patients with congenital heart disease and their families.

Donations like these are instrumental in providing the best possible experience for patients and their families at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and cardiac clinics in the region. The appreciation extends to the Sky Bet employees and all those who contributed at the gala.
