The UFC has taken another significant step towards ensuring fairness and integrity in its sport through its new partnership with ProhiBet. This collaboration comes as a follow-up to the UFC’s previous alliance with US Integrity to tackle illicit betting within the promotion.
ProhiBet, a joint venture between US Integrity and Odds on Compliance, will provide the UFC with a notification platform specifically designed to crack down on gambling by fighters, employees, officials, and coaches. This move aligns the UFC with the NFL’s approach, aiming to enforce its policy against betting among individuals involved in UFC events.
By utilizing ProhiBet’s platform, the UFC aims to safeguard sports integrity by adhering to state-specific regulations. The platform will promptly notify the UFC of any unauthorized betting activities, ensuring compliance with the organization’s anti-gambling policy.
