Oddsworks, a licensed gaming content provider in Pennsylvania, has enlisted the help of Continent 8 Technologies to conduct a comprehensive cybersecurity audit and Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test (VAPT).

Continent 8, through its dedicated cybersecurity division C8 Secure, performed the audit in line with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). The assessment evaluated Oddsworks’ security measures, including the implementation of security solutions like IDS/IPS, virtual machine protocols, antivirus and malware systems, vulnerability scanning, and log management solutions.

The audit was completed within eight weeks by Continent 8’s specialist team, identifying vulnerabilities beyond the initial scope. The resulting audit and VAPT reports were submitted to the PGCB and received regulatory approval.

Patrick Gardner, Managing Partner at C8 Secure, highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in the gaming industry and praised Oddsworks for prioritizing it. He also acknowledged Pennsylvania’s leadership in protecting the iGaming market.

Steven De Mar, EVP at Oddsworks, expressed the company’s commitment to cybersecurity and praised Continent 8 for their efficient and thorough audit process in Pennsylvania.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Continent 8, as they recently expanded their presence in the US market and opened a new data center site in Curaçao.
