The Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) has announced that its 2024 Annual Conference will be held in Malta from 20 to 22 May. Hosted by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), this conference brings together regulatory representatives from 35 member jurisdictions for collaborative discussions on emerging trends and challenges in the gaming sector.
The GREF Annual Conference serves as a unique platform for regulators to exchange knowledge and collectively address the evolving challenges within the gaming industry. It promotes collaboration and aims to drive regulatory excellence.
Kinga Warda, MGA’s Chief Officer for Policy and International Affairs, expressed gratitude for being selected as the host for this prestigious event. She emphasized the importance of this conference in facilitating knowledge exchange and addressing industry challenges.
Since its establishment in 1989, GREF has played a crucial role in promoting constructive dialogue and acting as a central point of contact for European gaming regulators. In 2016, the MGA successfully organized a joint conference for GREF and the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), bringing together advisors and regulators from around the world to discuss critical industry challenges.
The 2024 GREF Annual Conference in Malta promises to be a valuable and enriching experience for operators, suppliers, lawyers, investors, regulators, and other industry advisors.
