November was a record-breaking month for mobile sports wagering in New York, with a handle valued at $2.1 billion. This surpasses the previous milestone of $2 billion set in October. In total, the mobile sports wagering handle for the fiscal year has now exceeded $12 billion.

Although the gross gaming revenue for mobile sports wagering decreased slightly in November to $150.9 million from $166.3 million in October, it has still surpassed $1 billion for the current fiscal year.

In terms of individual platforms, FanDuel Sportsbook saw a rise in its mobile sports wagering handle from $891.9 million in October to $925.4 million in November. BetMGM, on the other hand, achieved over $100 million in mobile sports wagering handle for the third consecutive month, reaching $120.6 million in November. DraftKings Sportsbook also experienced growth, with its handle increasing from $652.3 million in October to $732.1 million. Additionally, Caesars Sportsbook reached the milestone of $200 million in mobile sports wagering handle for the first time this fiscal year.

In November, the total net revenue for education in New York was just under $77 million, while platform providers earned nearly $74 million in net revenue. In other news, the Adams administration recently proposed significant zoning changes that would permit the development of casinos across various parts of New York City.
