X (formerly known as Twitter) has made a significant move into the world of sports betting integration by partnering with BetMGM, as reported by Fortune. The objective of this collaboration is to introduce a new feature on X that will display betting odds and provide users with a direct link to BetMGM for seamless bet placement.

While the specific details of this deal are undisclosed, BetMGM remains focused on creating strategic agreements and partnerships. Recently, they entered into an agreement with Charlotte Motor Speedway, positioning their platform to access the North Carolina market once sports betting is legalized.

In addition to this, BetMGM made headlines in December with the launch of NHL Gold Blitz, an innovative online slot game endorsed by the NHL. Developed in collaboration with Digital Gaming Corporation, this video slot showcases logos from all 32 NHL teams and the iconic NHL shield.

As of December, BetMGM holds a 17 percent market share in U.S. online sports betting. This places them as the third-largest player in the highly competitive industry, behind only DraftKings and FanDuel. BetMGM is a partnership between MGM and Entain, the parent company of Ladbrokes.
